This is my second vlog (video blog) filmed the morning of November 16, 2016. It shows what it takes behind the scenes of a typical morning of rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, and Atlantic salmon fishing for me. I used egg sacks tied from landlocked salmon eggs at each of the three spots I fished at. I fished only with bait, mostly dragging it and using the same setup with split shot and an octopus hook all day. I showed fall fishing tips and techniques along the way, and I ended up limiting out with two rainbow trout and one Atlantic salmon.
Josh traveled to Milwaukee to go fishing for giant brown trout on Lake Michigan with renowned angler Eric Haataja. The goal was to catch Josh his first ever freshwater trout species. The temperatures were below subzero with the wind chill. The boat ramp was completely frozen. We spent nearly 45 minutes breaking up ice just to launch the boat.
