Using crankbaits for summer time fishing works great but you don’t have to put them away and try something different for ice fishing for Walleye. Using the rattling lipless crankbaits for giant walleye fishing is a lot of fun and works great for bringing in the monster walleye. Check out the video for some great tips on landing more fish.

I was jig fishing at a river in New York during late spring or early summer (mid June, 2015). I was jigging swimbait jigs around a dam for walleye and smallmouth bass. I ended up catching walleye, bass, and carp, and I lost one or two big smallmouth bass (master angler length).
