I did not expect to catch anything and ended up having one of the greatest days of bass fishing of my life! 40 degrees, rain, and 30 mph winds are usually not the best conditions to go fishing in. I only had about an hour to fish and hit up a lake I’ve never open water fished. You never know when the big girls will be munching! I hope you all enjoy!

We pulled a Cajun technique out of the playbook and went bass fishing with live crawfish! I didn’t know what to expect at first, but it easily turned into one of the top 5 fishing trips of my life. Corey and I relaxed and watched deer running around the lake as the crawfish did all the work for us. We boated several Winter chunks and I feel pretty confident that you will see another live bait trip coming up in the future. Hit that thumbs up if you want to see us catch more big bass on live craw daddies!
Fishing the right bass baits for tough fishing days can make the difference in catching a limit and not catching anything at all. In this vlog, me and lunkerstv are heading to a lake that we caught a lot of bass out of the last time we were there. After coming back from Colorado, there was a cold front that came through and shut the bass down form biting. These largemouth bass should have been on the verge of spawning, but instead they were not biting and moved away from the bank with the high barometric pressure. We did our best with techniques that have typically worked on this lake but nothing was working. Eventually we had to down size and slow down to get bites. We ended up catching 7 bass and it took us a while to figure out how to actually get a bass to bite. This fishing video is different than my normal bass fishing videos because I am due to the audio issues that me and Rob encountered.
These lures will help you catch big bass during the prespawn this Spring. Tim explains how to use each style to cover water and catch big bass.

The Key to catching big bass in Spring is to cover water and find the aggressive fish. Once aggressive bass are located you can switch between colors and styles of bait to keep the schooling fish active for as long as possible. Switching betwen a squarebill, jerkbait, alabama rig, etc… will keep them biting long after they would have given up on a single bait. Apply these bass fishing tips to your advantage this Spring and you’ll begin catching more bass right away!
Bass fishing this time of year can get pretty tough with cold dirty water, but we put that spinnerbait to work today and it put some solid chunks in the boat. Felt good to get back out on the water and give the hard water fish a break!!
Well this bass fishing challenge is an interesting one. You guys should go out and give it a shot. Bass fishing in Maryland is a tough but always a good time to hang out with Mike. Make sure to hit that THUMBS UP for me if you enjoyed the video!
