This is my second vlog (video blog) filmed the morning of November 16, 2016. It shows what it takes behind the scenes of a typical morning of rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, and Atlantic salmon fishing for me. I used egg sacks tied from landlocked salmon eggs at each of the three spots I fished at. I fished only with bait, mostly dragging it and using the same setup with split shot and an octopus hook all day. I showed fall fishing tips and techniques along the way, and I ended up limiting out with two rainbow trout and one Atlantic salmon.
We are targeting trophy lake trout off northern Wisconsin’s icy shores of Lake Superior. In two days we managed to hook up with two 30-35lb’ers and one 20+lber including hook ups with many more.
